I had the same experience as other commenters. I felt very uncomfortable with a sore throat and headache, making it inconvenient to visit a physical hospital. I wanted to get some medication to relieve the symptoms first and then visit a physical clinic when I felt better. However, when the doctor asked how long I had been coughing, I explained that it was because my previous cold hadn’t fully recovered, so the coughing lasted longer. The symptoms has worsened on that day, which is why I chose to consult an online clinic. Despite explaining my current discomfort, the doctor simply responded that since the cough had lasted a while, I should visit a physical clinic and ended the conversation, even though I mentioned feeling unwell at the moment. I understand the importance of seeing a physical doctor, but WhiteCoat's doctor’s unfriendly attitude made me feel very uncomfortable. The doctor even directly told me that I can keep calling but they won’t provide any online consultation for me. The terrible attitude made me decide never to use this App anymore.

Just received the second half of my health screening results and consulted the next avail dr to explain my reports to me. Dr Doreen Ang was assigned as my consulting dr and she said that everything is fine w my test, and asked if i had went through my blood work report. I didnt know that it was a one time free consult so i thought she could run through it with me again. She then said i had already went through it and its chargeable to go through it again so I told her then its fine, could she check if i got my ultrasound test yet because the last dr didnt go through it.

Dr Doreen Ang then became very dismissive and rude and said she doesnt see any ultrasound report and just used a tone like she was aghast at my request and im just wasting her time. she then told me to wait for the report and then hung up the call without warning?

I dont think i did or requested anything that deserve such treatment but i’ll be telling everyone to not consult her or just use Dr Anywhere instead.

App is lagging and glitching a few times, needed to reboot. I also had to wait forever to get a doctor even though it stated only 1 remaining patient in queue. It's honestly faster to consult your nearest neighbourhood clinic.

I am writing to share my recent unpleasant experience during a teleconsultation with Dr. Charlene Wang.

On Saturday, I called to request for a cream (or something) that to manage my (female) condition while waiting for the physical clinic to open on Monday.

Dr. Wang insisted that I needed to see a doctor for a physical examination, which I explained was not possible as most clinics were closed. This was not a life-threatening matter that would necessitate a visit to the A&E.

Before I could respond further, Dr. Wang abruptly ended the call. I believe the least she could have done was to provide some guidance on managing the condition until I could seek in-person care.

While I understand the limitations of teleconsultations, I found this behavior unprofessional and uncalled for.

I kindly request that you review the call recording. I have been a user of WhiteCoat for over a year, and my experiences have always been positive and pleasant. This is the first time I’ve encountered such conduct, and I hope appropriate action will be taken to ensure a better experience for patients in the future.

Terrible experience. I’ve been having a cough that wouldn’t go away which only started getting worse recently which has been causing me other symptoms. I just wanted to get an opinion and possibly medication to manage my symptoms (cough, headache, nausea and vomiting) before seeing a doctor physically since it’s a Sunday and hardly any clinic is open. Dr Jeremy Mong was extremely rude and unprofessional, he didn’t even bother to hear about my symptoms. I just mentioned the word “chronic” and he cut me off and said if I already knew it was chronic, why didn’t I just get an Xray and why did I bother calling him. As someone who is not a doctor, the whole point of me calling is to get an opinion on my options. I tried to explain that I had other symptoms that I wanted to manage but before I could say anything, he cut me off again and said he can’t do anything about it and told me to get an X-ray before he ended my call.

Selected this consultation person - Patrick Ee due to a mild condition not even serious, just required some anti inflammation medication but this guy said he is unable to diagnose and i need to see a doctor in person instead. (Wasted 25 minutes of waiting)

2nd time - selected this consultation person Patrick Ee again as the rest of the other staff had very long queue numbers. Same thing, he said he can't diagnose and told me to see a doctor in person. (condition was not serious, not severe, all required was just some ointment) but this guy said otherwise. [Wasted 20 minutes of waiting]

Both times this person said he cannot proceed and cannot diagnose, need to see the doctor in person - then for what purpose is there to have this Online Teleconsult App?

Probably that's why he has the least number of people waiting in queue as to the rest of the teleconsult doctors.

I've been an active user of whitecoat due to its convenience and ease of tele consultations and advices from doctors for my condition. However, my recent experience with Dr Kevin Low was unpleasant. He was rude and dismissive! Insisted I head down to clinic as I've consulted a few times within the month. Obviously he didn't bother to check the reasons for my active follow up consultation with doctors on whitecoat. He probably concluded i just needed MC and brushed me off. Don't worry, I'd rather support other co-pay clinics than whitecoat for my future follow up consultation. I believe I've supported too many times anyways. Bye bye whitecoat.

Used whitecoat for convenience. Started waiting from 8.30 am, met any available doctor at 8.53 am. Purchased medication afterwards and book timeslot 11 am to 1 pm. Was only informed driver is delivering at 11.30 am. From 11 to 11.30 am, try to contact to whitecoat in regards to delivery, was told to just wait.

After 11.30 am, was provided a link to see location of driver. However, there is no indication of how many orders or location before mine. So just have to see the driver circling my area till my turn. Gotten medication after 12 pm, duration from doctor to medication about 3.5 hrs.

Suggestion: It will be niced to share more detail of status of delivery like if it is packed, handed over to driver like how lazada, shoppee does. Also some kind of estimation time range then just the timeslot we selected once package is closed to arrival. That way easier for patients to know if there is a delay or collection coming. Better than having to wait for that 2 hrs or so.

Duration wise: meeting of the doctor is quicker than in the clinics. Just the delivery time of medication can be improved. Met doctor within 1st hr of the opening but my earliest timeslot is 11 am to 1pm which means i have to wait for 3 to 5 hrs. That cause ppl to compare going to the actual clinic than using of the app.
