I began the beginners course in Hatha yoga with Tomek Faolan at the beginning of September after not having attended a yoga class since before lockdown. This course is just right for me! Since I am 76 years old I have to scramble a bit from time to time to get into my poses, but the pace is manageable for me, and Tomek is an excellent instructor, providing helpful guidance when needed. I highly recommend his class in Hatha yoga.

Have been attending a yoga class at Maitri studio for nearly 2 years and can highly recommend it. There are several yoga teachers , levels and style of yoga class on offer and a wide range of holistic classes/workshops to try . The studios are very well equipped and also fitted with ropes at two levels . Aerial yoga is also on offer. It is easy to book online , and with individual teachers. Various treatments are also on offer , there are comprehensive listings online or on the noticeboards at Maitri. Well worth a visit !

Maitri studio is a warm, inviting, and inclusive calm space in East Belfast. The studio is well-equipped and teachers are kind and supportive. There are options for all budgets and you will find a broad offering: classes, workshops, events. Get a holistic treatment, take a yoga class, or learn a snew skill.
It's my studio of choice and I would recommend it to all I know! Every class I've taken has reflected on the philosophy and standard of this oasis!

Lovely, friendly yoga studio close to Central Station. I love this place for it’s amazing Iyengar teachers and the way it’s involved with the local community. Offers tai chi, Pilates and meditation classes and sittings as well as various therapies too.
