My Doctor referred me to this place over a month ago and sent all my info and Insurance it took three days to talk to someone and she made me appointment for 2/3/25 today on 1/31 they called and said we are not in your network but we take your insurance but I have to pay $75 per visit when I asked the Lady why they waited a month to tell me this her answer was “ I am sorry “
This is not acceptable.

I had a bad fall down the stairs on my tailbone. It turns out that I did further damage to a much older spinal injury. I have had physical therapy in the past, and was disappointed - I stopped going, because I didn't feel any difference. However, at Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy in Spicewood, I was absolutely amazed at the difference when you have people who know what they are doing. Brent Denny was my primary therapist and Ardra Hughes filled in when Brent was unavailable. Both therapists paid attention to everything I said, asked consistently how I felt, listened to my response, and as I made progress, asked me about what else might be hurting. They understand that as they make progress on one part of the body, that other pain points and weaknesses become apparent. They not only continued to improve what I originally went in for, but also ended up helping me fix the other issues that had been previously neglected. This time did not want to stop going to physical therapy. By the end, I felt better than I had in 15 years!

The experience I’ve had at SM&PT has been nothing short of amazing. From the warm welcome I always receive walking in the door, to the professional, caring team of therapists I’ve been able to work with through my recovery. Regrettably, our family has had some orthopedic issues and used several rehab centers. By far, this experience has been the most sincere, the most honest and the most helpful of any we have used. Could not recommend SMPT more highly.

Very bad place from the owner to the therapist : wouldn't refer them to my worst enemy !
